Scripts Update

26.01.10

I've decided not to keep old versions of my projects hanging around for people to download to avoid supporting old-code and to ensure that new users are running the latest version. This will break a lot of linking from script websites - but old-code needs to eventually die.

Anyway, there is a new version of PonVFTP available on my code page (near the bottom) - I strongly suggest upgrading to it.

site update!

03.12.09

It appears that my most popular PHP script is PonVFTP - I recieve a few emails every month with questions and suggestions. Sadly, I haven't had the chance to update it recently. However, since I was updating my site - I took a little time tonight to improve the documentation and cleanup some of the code.

Testing my changes meant I had to install and setup Apache and PHP on my new local Linux box - so I might take the time to review my other aging scripts also.

Anyway, I've updated my games list and tweaked a few things - so feel free to take a look around.

it only took 4 years

06.10.08

Back in 2004 (or was it 2003) I was sitting in #wavelength and a guy named Deepflame needed a library that would provide the features to import and export a PAK-style format. I had just stopped work on my 2D engine, so I jumped at the chance. PonPAK was born! I had something working after just a few days - but it wasn't until a few months passed that I actually something of substance (I really wanted to finish it before I turned 16 - I am now almost 21 heh). I then had the chance of working on Insurgency, so all work halted. I left Insurgency soon after I got offered the job at Threewave and I needed a project to keep me from going insane - so I went back to PonPAK. A few months work and I had something quite clean and fast, I just never actually took the time to finish it. Today, I tested it, fixed a few bugs, and actually released it. Now onto writing the documentation ... ugh ...

new site

18.09.08

Finally! I managed to update my site. Last time I touched the design of this site I was studying (heh) for my AS-Levels - not even sure if I had started work on Insurgency. Either way, a really long sodding time ago. Who knew I'd end up in Vancouver working on video-games :). Anyway, I've decided to go for a much more professional design this time (the banner at the top is the view from my apartment), concentrating more on my work and achievements than drunken party photos. I wonder where I'll be next redesign.
